| This is a brand new 24x36 picture/photo frame (meaning a 24'' x 36'' or a 36'' x 24'' print will fit just right). Solid wood 4'' wide and 1.75'' thick molding with a 0.25'' deep rabbet is covered with a thin layer of gesso and painted antique-gold. One of our latest inventory expansions, this frame is a replica of those rich museum-style frames with ""dusty"" patina and hushed, ""worn"" gold finish. We love this frame for its non-contrast design: corner crowns, while existent and very elaborate, do not attract extra attention, and neither do any of other numerous carvings on the molding. It is definitely not a ""simple"" modern frame, it's about as ornate as it gets, yet the style stays modest and classy.We're sure you'll enjoy this frame whatever you chose to place in it: poster, photograph, artwork, craft project, etc., never regretting this purchase, but the best use for it is those really classy art prints: dutch portraits, landscapes, maybe maps or even documents.
