| This is a brand new 24x36 picture/photo frame (meaning a 24'' x 36'' or a 36'' x 24'' print will fit just right). Solid wood 3.5'' wide and 1.5'' thick molding with a 0.25'' deep rabbet is covered with a thin layer of gesso and painted antique-gold & mahogany. This frame is one of our newest styles. The intriguing part about it is that, aside from corner crowns, molding design is relatively simple on the outside part. However, as it reaches the opening, where your print will go, molding curves in, exposing little fancy carvings it has on the inside. This creates an interesting and heart-warming effect, especially visible in smaller sizes of this style: your print is centered as if in a few frames, like a secret treasure. Despite the fact that the outside part of the molding protrudes over the inside part, partially covering it - it does not cover any part of the opening, so your entire print will always be visible.You can use the frame for anything you like: poster, photograph, artwork, craft project, etc., but best of all it works with family portraits, giving them an amazing ""museum"" look.
